Em uma festa junina, em 1966. A criança no colo da mulher,

à esquerda da foto, é o meu irmão Neto no colo da minha mãe.

Todos nós partimos, pegamos o bonde
da vida, sem documento, sem banho...
Sem sonhos vamos todos pra bem longe
onde fica um presente muito estranho!

Lembramo-nos então da nossa fonte:
Um filme, numa foto onde eu estando...
Foi outra época, além do horizonte!
Sou outra pessoa do meu tamanho!

Defronte aquele jovem eu me acanho!
Entre nós há uma intransponível ponte...
No seu sorriso está tudo o que eu ganho!

Será que eu subi ou desci o monte?
Pra qualquer lado que eu rumo, me arranho,
deixando a mim mesmo sei lá por onde!

Past and Present

All we leave, take the tram
of life without paper, without bath ...
Without dreams going all to the far
where's a present  very strange!

We remember then of our source:
A movie, in a photo where I am ...
