O Cego

Maneira de falar tão vergonhosa
a todos está exposta dia e noite,
do que vem com palavra afetuosa,
mas que se torna um dolorido coice!

A cabeça do incauto curiosa
não percebe que está sob um açoite!
Escuta uma promessa perigosa
mas onde está o entendimento? Foi-se!

Cego segue no pó da estrada a pé
até de ré porque com fé acredita
em quem lhe disse que não é ralé!

Nem quando chega ao final da descida
acorda! Não vê que é bobo, mas é!
Pois é! Vimos como é do povo a lida!

The Blind

Manner of speaking shameful
are exposed to  everybody day and night,
of that comes with affectionate word,
but that it becomes a  painful kick!

The curious head of the unwary
not  perceive that are under a whip!
Listening to a dangerous promise
but where is the understanding? Went away!

Blind follow in the dust of the road on foot
up to astern  because with faith believes
in whom said that he isn't scum!

Nor when comes to the end of the descent
wakes! Don't see that it is fooled, but it is!
So was!! Saw how is of the people their job!
