Deus viu, pois, a terra e eis que estava
arruinada, porque toda a carne havia arruinado 
seu caminho na terra

Ai daquele que constrói uma cidade com derramamento
de sangue, e que estabeleceu firmemente uma vila 
por meio de injustiça! ...Pois a terra se encherá do 
conhecimento da glória de Deus... assim como as próprias 
águas cobrem o mar.

Nas densas nuvens luz ficou difusa!
Perde-se nesse imenso mar de dor,
Lamento tardio de quem abusa
e deturpa a caridade e o amor!

Do desrespeito ao chão que pisamos
a Terra se livrará desse horror!
Ela inverterá o que lhe causamos!
Reluzirá sua luz na antiga cor!

Ao pecado que a Terra nos acusa
virá dos céus contundente procela!
O pecado não passará por alto!

Engolirá a rebelião confusa,
que deixou nosso nosso lar como uma cela!
Somos prisioneiros d'um injusto assalto!
